The purpose of this fundraising plan is to outline our fundraising goals and provide a roadmap for a fundraising team to organize and attain these funding goals. Your fundraising effort must be at least $400,000 and include multiple fundraising strategies.
1.Discuss the issue (problem) that the organization seeks to address. How does the organization address issues of power, privilege and oppression among the diverse stakeholders?
2.How does the fundraising plan reflect these issues in the rationale & justification?
3.How does the plan seek to priorities people more impacted by the issue, and specifically fund programs, or aspects of the organization that diversify the work, or address those communities most marginalized by the issue that the organization is addressing?
4.How can the constituency by included in the fundraising process?
•How can they be involved in making the plan?
•How would this make the fundraising plan more accountable and transparent to the community, and make their programming more effective?
•What role does the constituency have in conceptualizing the budget and fundraising goals?
5.How can the stakeholders be involved in giving to the community (be or considered donors)?
6.How will you know if you are involved in mission drift (following the money) vs. addressing underlying (or root causes) of issues addressing diversity, power, privilege & oppression vis-à-vis the organizational mission.
7.How will organizational stakeholders, especially those most marginalized, be involved in evaluating the plan?
