Employers today use a variety of tools to screen potential job applicants. One tool that is being used by some is the use of personality tests.
Employers also seek out information available on the Web in areas such as social media sites. Some employees have even been let go as a result of something they posted on social media.
Take some time and do some research online (such as through a Google search) and see what more you can learn about how employers are using these types of resources and personality tests then provide your thoughts on whether or not you support the use of these personality tests and information available via the web (such as through social media) being used in the recruitment process.
Provide supporting reasons as to why you believe or don’t believe these should be used in the workplace.
