After reading the two authors’ biographies, find a common thread among them as it relates to their writing. For example, consider why they began writing? Were they educated? Did something happen in their youth? Is it something about their personalities? Does passion have something to do with it? Did another person encourage them to write? Do not overthink this question. We are just looking for general similarities regarding how and why people end up as writers. Just remember to support your claim(s) with examples and evidence from the course materials.
