Event, person, conflict, or topic in general that shaped the period known as the modern world as defined in our Marks’ textbook “Origins of the Modern World.”
Your assignment is to learn as much as possible about your chosen subject and then analyze its historical, cultural, and/or environmental importance and significance to this era. Your final research paper should be between five (5) full pages in length and no longer than six (6) full pages in length not including your Works Cited page.
Develop an opening statement, usually referred to as a statement about how the event, person, conflict and topic that provides insight into the developmental impact of modern world history, culture, and environment.
