What is the title of the exhibit? Do you think that it is appropriate? Was the exhibit what you expected?

In lieu of writing anything for what was previously “Part 1”Please consider these questions that I normally ask you to consider while wandering around an exhibit. These should be what you take into account as you write.

1)What is the title of the exhibit? Do you think that it is appropriate? Was the exhibit what you expected?

2)Is the exhibit focused on a particular artist/movement/medium/chronology/other? How well does the exhibit present its theme? Are there lots of works of art or is it quite limited?

3)How is the exhibit space arranged? Is it a large room? Are there useful brochures, tags or handouts to help guide and inform your visit? How are the works of art arranged ? Do you find the arrangement appropriate and/or appealing?

4)What are some of the highlights of the exhibit? Were there some pieces that surprised you or seemed out of place?

5)What is your overall impression? You are now an expert at looking at art…did the curators do a good job of presenting the exhibit? What would you have done differently?
