The assessment for this module is a piece of written work (100%), consisting of the following components:
1) Two lesson plans: one lesson plan for teaching listening/speaking; and the other one for teaching reading/writing.
2) You are required to choose authentic (non-textbook) materials for the two lesson plans, together with your designed exercises which help you achieve the teaching and learning objectives. Your teaching materials and designed exercises can be put in appendix.
3) Use the template which is given in class for your two lesson plans, making sure that all the components (e.g. teaching objectives, learning outcomes, classroom activity design, exercises) are all interrelated.
4) You need to provide a rationale for these two lesson plans (1,000 words in total). You will be expected to use the relevant teaching/learning theories to back up your classroom activities.
