1. What are some major challenges for offenders reentering the community from criminal sanctions? What role can prison programs play?
2. How should we best assess offender reentry programs? What are different types of offender reentry practices and approaches there?
3. What are the most promising policy directions for offender reentry? What has been demonstrated about the effectiveness of different prison programming to prepare offenders for reentry?
4. What do we know about the effects of social environments on reentry? That is, what are specific ways in which the environments to which offenders are released can affect reentry success?
5. What might be done to help reentering offenders in high-risk environments? Could offenders be diverted away from such environments? How?
