COMPLEXITIES IN MENTAL HEALTH NURSING
Section A
Make a plan of the proposed poster and report content. The format for this plan can be a mind map, short summary, bullet point list and images to be used on the poster. The plan must include the below which link to the main assessment. It can be about a page or 2 pages. Please wait for the feedback from section A to help in completing section B.
An introduction to the selected topic that reflects the complexity of mental health nursing of clients and their families including a rationale of why it is complex.
A range of evidence (minimum of 5 literature sources and up to 15) which will be used to support the content of the report in relation to the chosen topic.
A strategy which mental health nurses can implement to address the chosen topic.

1. 1. Demonstrate a contemporary analysis as to how needs can be met within the context of a multiplicity of providers and the range of mental health disorders.
Introduction: identify a nursing issue/intervention. Give a definition and a brief over view, prevalence, problem/s with current services, what are the possible interventions
2. 2. Develop knowledge and skills of the evidence–based interventions and the range of services provision designed to meet diverse needs and complex needs.
Critically discuss the evidence base for the nursing intervention
3. 3. Discuss and demonstrate the ability to engage with service users and carers from a variety of cultural backgrounds during a mental health crisis
Discuss the role of families/carers in the delivery of care
OR the role of cultural factors in the delivery of care
4. Develop a critical understanding of the role of the individual, family and carers in developing service provision
