Course Note:What is leisure?
When the word leisure is spoken, many people will picture in their minds eye a beach, a cocktail and some relaxation. In other words, people equate leisure with relaxation, resting and recuperating. Yet, in many ways going to bed at night will fulfill this definition of leisure. For the philosopher Aristotle, leisure involved more than relaxation.
