Purpose: The current status of addiction and crimes is contributing to the overpopulation and overcrowding of our judicial system. One methods of addressing these issue is utilizing criminal diversion programs, however some believe these programs do not hold the individual accountable for their actions. The goal of this assignment is to explore the benefits of jail diversion programs, to take a side for or again their use, and to provide data to back up your stance.
