LITERATURE REVIEW OF THE TOPIC (50%) -review of literature on Lean and the concepts that need to be practiced achieving it. Clear description of three concepts. What benefits are available? What companies use them? How will they improve the chosen organisation?
DESCRIPTION OF ORGANISATION (10%)- products, services, customers
APPLICATION OF A CONCEPT (10%) -Explain how one of the concepts you described could improve the chosen organisation.
CALCULATION OF LEAD-TIME (30%) –Calculate the Lead-Time until the Bike can be displayed for sale, how would sourcing the parts from Italy or China affect the Lead-Time?
Standard of PRESENTATION – Essay is clearly laid out. A good standard of grammar, spelling, punctuation, paragraphs, and quotations. Adequate Harvard Referencing style is used.
