Discuss the risks of electronic health records due to the ease of accessibility and exchange of information (HIPAA and its entirety in EHR). Look at the ideas of people that that are in support of electronic health records argue that it will allow their patients to get better treatment in a shorter period of time. Look at the ideas of the people that are in opposition and argue that electronic health records could be compromised and violate HIPAA; hence, exposing the patient’s data to the public.
