Modified Activity/Lesson Plan
The purpose of this assignment is for the student to modify a developmentally appropriate lesson based on a child’s individual needs. You will create a lesson plan that modifies an activity or lesson to be inclusive of children with special needs in your
hypothetical classroom.
1. Modify a Lesson/Activity Plan using the knowledge and strategies outlined in this class and from the textbook.
2. The lesson plan must contain:
a) a title & purpose; b) objectives; c) an introduction; d) a list of resources & materials; e) an explanation of the modification for the special needs student; f) at least two activities covering two of the following areas (math, science, social studies, music & movement, art language/literature/literacy, large motor, and fine motor); and g) a closure
