Website Evaluation
For this assignment, you are asked to find and report on at least TWO websites that relate to recruitment/selection. The websites might include tools and other websites that would help an HR professional in developing job postings or selection criteria for the position, selecting appropriate recruitment methods, and other functions associated with the recruitment and selection processes.
After you selected the websites, Review each website in terms of the quality, credibility, and usefulness of the information for the HR professional or manager as they relate to recruiting and assistance in selecting qualified candidates.
The report you will write for this assignment must include:
Website title, URL, and a short description of the website’s function and relation to the duties of an HR professional or a manager (for each selected website)
Review of the websites’ strengths and weaknesses from the perspective of an HR professional.
Reflection of the website selection and evaluation process (think about how you looked at websites before you researched the website quality criteria and how you are looking at them now). Compare and contrast this process with the selection and evaluation processes that exist in the field of HR. For example, the last job posting you read: was it aligned with the criteria you studied? Include in the reflection how differently you viewed the website with the criteria in mind than you would have before studying the criteria?
