Students must write a 20-page research paper, drawing on a problem of the student’s choice, with research relevant to the student’s major. Research should relate to a problem or issue of social concern and to Mercy Values. A quality paper will show evidence of substantial research (a minimum of 15 peer reviewed sources. Most of the sources should be credible articles. Ex. Articles from ProQuest), critical thought, application of Mercy Values to the topic, and the presentation of an articulate and well-organized argument. Papers are to be written in 12-point, Times New Roman font with 1 inch margins and double-spaced. Please refer to the Capstone Rubric prior to writing the paper. My major is Medical Imaging.
