Minor Project 2–Analyze Strategies and Write Documents
For ten situations you will determine
1. What channel should be used and why
2. Which strategy should be used—direct or indirect
3. What reader benefit can be emphasized
4. How a negative tone can be eliminated
5. What information should be included
After you have answered those questions for the ten situations, then for two selected situations–identified in the instructions–you will compose the entire documents: combined good news/routine inquiry and a bad news situation.
