This section is about solutions. You need to present interventions and critically analyse how successful they have been. Were they effective, if so which was the most effective? Were they tackling an important causal factor? How easy and cost effective were they or might they be to implement? You will need to consider if the studies are appropriate: How generalisable are they – would they apply to many settings or would they only relate to a rather specific setting for example? What is the scale of the study so how many subjects were involved? Were all factors or ‘variables’ taken in to consideration? This is where the critical analysis of the research comes in. You need to go beyond just ‘they did this and these were the results’.
