The thesis is intended to explore and to highlight if the main drivers for the strategical decision are related solely to cost and profitability or if other elements are considered.
The scope of the research is to answer the following questions:
Is the make vs buy decision taken considering short term or long-term plan during the pre-launch phase of a product?
Which are the key drivers for the decision?
How are key stakeholders involved during the make vs buy decision process?
Is it the decision process purely driven by cost effectiveness?
