What rhetoric is used? How is it used? What is the effect of this rhetoric?
A rhetorical analysis looks at an item’s use of ethos, pathos, and/or logos. Keep in mind, though, that any given item may or may not use all of these devices. For example, a given commercial may mostly utilize pathos in its message.
