PURPOSE
This assignment introduces you to basic research skills and application of concepts you have learned in this class about American Politics and government in the form of a critique. These research skills will be of benefit to you in other courses that require research assignments. You will review political science literature and analyze the validity of the authors’ arguments based on knowledge you have acquired in this course and your life experiences.
INSTRUCTIONS
Describe the topic of the journal article you selected and why it is of interest to you.
If you agree with the author(s) then indicate how and why. If you disagree, then make an argument about why you disagree.
Ask yourself if the author(s) thoroughly addressed the topic or not? If not, how would you approach the topic differently?
What concepts introduced in this course are applicable to the journal article topic you selected and your life?
Limit your paper to a minimum of 3 pages and maximum of 5 pages. The paper should be double spaced and proofread for grammatical errors.
