Sustainable Developmental Goals
The United Nations seeks to improve the world through its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Download the free SDGs in Action App from the App Store or Google Play. It is not necessary to create an account, simply click on “Skip.” Choose one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals that most appeals to you.
Read the introduction, view the short video (less than 5 minutes), and review the facts/figures and targets. Finally, read one of the short case studies. In a two-page paper, Discuss the SDG you selected and how nurses can help achieve that goal. In addition to the info gleaned from the SDGs in Action App, the paper requires a minimum of two references: one from an ENGLISH titled, peer-reviewed NURSING journal (less than 5 years-old) and one from the course textbook.
