Narrative Essay
Pick an event in your life that is important to you — maybe your first day at school, getting your driver’s license, a major illness, or something major that happened to you or to someone in your family. This narrative is NOT fiction; this must be something that actually happened. Remember: a narrative tells a story; it has a beginning, a middle, and an end. For this essay, Include dialogue. Dialogue is a conversation between two or more people. For example, I asked, “How are you today?”
New Paragraph — new speaker The student replied, “I am fine. How are you?” Notice that you have a new paragraph because you have a new speaker.
