CREATE A PAMPHLET – ADHD (aimed at parents and family)
Condense critical information and translate relevant academic literature from developmental psychology into an accessible client-based format. Use bullet-points, and creative structure and design to present information so that it is easily digestible for your target audience. (ENJOYABLE AND EASY TO READ)
Make pamphlets as creative and interesting as possible but all pamphlets must include:
1. Define the main issue (description) and explain any jargon.
2. Discuss the main issue (prediction and explanation) within the parameters of the developmental period it relates to (i.e., prevalence rates, individuals most at risk, impact on development, relation to other issues)
3. Evidence-based client advice or information designed to optimize development (i.e., warning signs, ways to reduce impact/prevention/enhance development)
4. All information MUST be evidence-based, using peer-reviewed journal articles and textbooks.
5.The inclusion of additional information sources for clients, for example, relevant hotlines, websites, professional services, or support groups.
