Building Survey Report and Client Proposal.
Prepare a report for Mr Smith comprising of a survey report and a Client proposal to convince him that you are the firm who should be employed to progress the works to the next stage as the Lead Consultant. All of Mr Smith’s portfolio is developed with sustainability in mind so he would wish you to consider this in your proposals.
This is a listed building with two distinct sections, an original part of the building with Georgian facade which is now connected to a more modern addition
This section should consist of the evaluation and evidence relating to your personal reflection on the assignment. It should deal with the following issues and be ordered into distinct sub-headings for easy reference:
• Original gaps in your knowledge (Identify at least three important gaps relating to the issues raised by the assignment- e.g. I didn’t know how to apply CDM to a live project)
• Learning you have achieved (Identify at least three important points -e.g. I can see why energy efficiency is important in refurbishment of buildings)
• Further Learning Needs. (Identify at least three important areas –e.g. I need to know how sustainable refurbishment differs in 1970’s buildings.)
