A critical evaluation, which explores the concepts of leadership, management and
professional practice and how these influence nursing practice in the student’s chosen area of adult nursing.
1. Critically examine some of the leadership and management theories/styles;
evident in the chosen clinical area and how this may affect the care management
of service users.
2. Critically explore the effect that organisational culture may have upon
multidisciplinary team collaboration: working, managing and organising care
across organisational and culture boundaries.
3. Develop some potential strategies/ changes that could be applied to the leadership and management structure; to provide effective care within the specified clinical area.
4. Presentation, structure, grammar and referencing consistent with level 6 academic study.
