For your final exam, you will write an essay that will demonstrate your knowledge and analysis of several of the readings that we have covered this term. Your essay should be at least 2500 words long. Answer the following questions.
Since the early nineteenth century, there have been several reform movements that claimed to help disabled people. Were these movements helpful or harmful to disabled people? In your essay, you must discuss at least FOUR of the following movements: boarding schools, institutionalization, eugenics, rehabilitation, vocational workshops, deinstitutionalization, disability rights.
