This sub-chapter will analyze how other countries tackled the issue of rape law and its difficulties relating genders.
This will be supported by the relevant legislation and case law to investigate its effectiveness and compare to effectiveness of law implemented in the United Kingdom. This chapter will also answer following questions:
What are the differences in the legislation? What does seem to be the most efficient? Could United Kingdom improve their rape law by introducing changes based on the effectiveness of the laws of other countries?
