Choose an archetype, myth, or theme that is present across multiple cultures. It might be Raven, Cinderella, journey toward enlightenment,, ancestors, hero’s journey or pretty much anything that calls to you. Study this theme, archetype, or type of myth from the lens of at least three different cultures. What are the stories, dances, rituals, etc., that occur around this theme, archetype, or myth? How do they inform the culture? Since the topics and ways of exploring this assignment are diverse, we ask that you come up with your topic and a list of questions that you wish to explore by the end of Week 5. You will post these in the item entitled: Cross Cultural Myth Exploration. You will then research these questions and write a final paper that compares and contrasts the awareness that you uncovered. This paper will also speak to how it has shown up in your personal life.
