Paper 3: Character and Point of View
Install Paragraph number one. Remember to use quotes in this paper.
In the second paragraph of this paper you must give the name of the main character. Use two to three adjectives to describe the main character. Give at least two concrete examples from the story to support the adjectives you use. End your paragraph by stating whether s/he or it is a round character, a dynamic character, a protagonist, or a symbolic character. Give at least two reasons for your statement. Finally, identify the central idea.In your third paragraph, identify the point of view used in the story. For example, “A Good Man is Hard to Find” is written from a limited omniscient point of view. Follow
with a definition of what this point of view is and provide at least two advantages of the point of view. Find at least three concrete examples of the point of view. Quote at least two passages to demonstrate when and where the author has used the point of view.
Your fourth paragraph explains the impact the point of view has on you, the reader. What does the point of view help you to “see?” What details are provided to the reader through this point of view? Use at least two explicit examples.
