According to Open Stax, Gap years can either be accepted and encouraged or frowned upon. In the British Society teens are encouraged to take a gap year and take a break from school.
Whereas here in the United States we are told to finish school well before we are 30 , have a career path figured out before we get out of high school.
Which leads me to ask , how might the United States culture differ if we have switched norms with A British Society or any other society?
