This week we learned about 4 levels of measurements that researchers use to collect data and analyze the data to answer their research questions. These levels include: nominal, ordinal, interval, and ratio. Using the article listed on your syllabus for this week, please answer the following questions:
• Provide a brief overview of the study outlined in the journal article assigned.
• Using Table 1 from the article, identify which levels of data measurement were used in the study.
• Describe ways that information obtained from measurements on an nominal scale are different than measurements on a ratio scale?
• Identify which tables displayed descriptive data and which tables use inferential statistics.
• Explain why it is important to know the differences between descriptive and inferential statistics.
