What is the ideal place to display this piece of art inside the museum, and why?Why was it displayed in this mysterious place and context ? Is there another object that was presented in this context?

Info related to the case study
I have asked the Curator of Heritage and Collections Care some question in order to be able to study the case well, and then it responded that:
How did the object get to the museum?
It was a donation to the University in 1983.

Given its provenance, how is it interpreted within the museum ?
As it came from a private collection, and not an archaeological excavation, there is no context for the object, so it can only be appreciated as an object of art.

Why was it displayed in this mysterious place and context ? Is there another object that was presented in this context?
It was displayed at the top of the stairs as a beautiful object welcoming people to the museum. This was the only reason.

Is there another similar group from the same culture and civilization being exhibited together?
The rest of the collection is not on display on the moment. I have attached the notes from a meeting with colleagues when we were discussing a possible display of the collection.

What is the ideal place to display this piece of art inside the museum, and why?
The ideal place would be to display it alongside the rest of the collection. We hope to do this in the future.
