What happens when you increase or decrease the concentration of the solution at the anode? At the cathode? How did you set up your experiments to definitively make this determination?
When we increase the concentration of anode, we go backwards towards the reactant side. We cannot get cell potential and The Ecell decreases. When we increase the concentration at Cathode, we go to the right side towards the products side, and we can get cell potential and The Ecell increases. when Q=1, meaning that the concentrations for the products and reactants are the same, then taking the log of this equals zero. When this occurs, the Ecell is equal to the Eocell.
