The students are asked to read up on the microorganism and report on:
• the impact the microorganism is having in the world
• What is known about this organism?
• What is not known about this organism?
• What is the direction(s) researchers/scientists/doctors are taking to treat the infectious disease(s)?
• What precautions and rules do healthcare providers need to follow so as to not contract and spread the disease?
The student is encouraged to include their personal take on the pathogen.
