How does the presence of C. a cnes in PCa tissue compare with blood PSA levels as a biomarker of the condition?

Project brief:

The aim of this project is to determine if there is a statistical association between infection/ colonization of the prostate with the anaerobic skin bacterium Cutibacterium acnes and PCa.
You will be given two excel spread sheets that contain either q PCR- or culture-based detection data for  a cnes within prostate tissue from men with PCa, and control subjects. The q PCR spreadsheet will also have data on age, prostate specific antigen levels and Gleason score which you will compare to infection status. Using these datasets, you will be required to ascertain the type of data you have been given, and the most appropriate statistical test to determine the following:
Is C. a cnes statistically more significant in PCa tissue verses control prostate tissue based on q PCR and culture detection?
Is there any statistical association between infection/ colonization status and age, PSA levels and Gleason score in men with PCa? .
Does infection/ colonization of the prostate gland with C. acnes associated with an increased risk of PCa?
How does the presence of C. a cnes in PCa tissue compare with blood PSA levels as a biomarker of the condition?
