What is the ‘simple citation’ format?We’ll take the following approach:
At the end of the sentence that needs a citation, insert a footnote.
In your footnote, include:
For print : include title, source, author, date of publication, page numbers.
For online: include title of article/page, author , date of publication , and a link.
For sources you use more than once, use a shortened citation: Author’s name and page number, or article title if there is no author given.
When in doubt, just clearly include as much info reasonably possible.
