This paper is an analysis of the shot below from Sherlock Jr.
The goal of this analysis is to explain how everything in the shot comes together to accomplish its purpose.
How does it help to move the action of the scene or the film along? How is it related to the rest of the film, for example, is it an echo precursor of any other shot, does it pick up on themes visual motifs that are being used in other parts of the film? How is it related to the shots that precede and follow it?
