This is an admissions essay for graduate school. I am seeking my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. Please write an essay of no more than three double spaced pages in response to the three questions below. This essay should reflect my developing knowledge of and interest in the counseling profession and my potential place within it. Please address each of the areas identified below:
1. What draws you to counseling and the particular concentration you have chosen within that profession.
2. Discuss any personal and professional experiences that have helped prepare you to begin graduate studies in the counseling profession.
3. Share your perspective regarding the role of multiculturalism and social justice in counseling.
