first part: News websites such as WWW.CNN.com and WWW.fox news.com frequently poll their visitors on current event topics. A good example of this is when websites ask visitors who they plan to vote for in an upcoming presidential election. The results of these surveys are then posted online. Sometimes, the results of online polls are also publicized in newspapers, on television, or on the radio. What are the advantages and disadvantages of collecting survey and opinion poll data online?
