Children’s Discipleship Analysis
Students will be required to submit a research paper (5-7 pages)analyzing the model of Children’s Ministry in his/her local church. Students must meet the following requirements:
1.Make the case for the need of an effective children’s ministry in your local church.
How does the Bible support the facilitation of an active and productive children’s ministry in local churches? Utilize the extensive research from the report: The Value and Spiritual Life of Children as support.
2. Describe your observations of each of the forms of discipleship and engagement with children (Sunday School, mid-week services, special events, etc.).
3. Identify the strengths and weaknesses of each of the types of children’s ministry present in your local church.
4.Develop a plan to improve and implement the methods and practices of children's ministry in your local church by building on the strengths of your church, using support from Scripture and research material.
A minimum of 5sources must be cited in addition to biblical sources with no more than two online sources. Students may use textbooks as sources. All final papers must be double spaced, Times New Roman, 12-point font size, with 1-inch margins. Must be written according to the standards of Kate L. Turabian, Manual for Writers of Term Papers, Theses, and Dissertations, 8th ed.
